On June 12, 2010, CNN’s Newsroom carried a Drew Griffin profile of me and my work with the Liberty Restoration Project.
The profile and studio discussion
The report returned to Brave New Books in Austin and examined how my anti-war views, interest in organic food and community gardens, and objections to government power fit within the political labels used at the time.
After the taped report, Griffin discussed my organizing with Suzanne Malveaux. Their conversation included my role as a young woman in the movement and the differences between grassroots Tea Party groups and Republican-led events.
A separate CNN appearance
This June broadcast is a separate archive record from the April 19 Anderson Cooper 360 segment. Its transcript preserves both the edited profile and the anchors’ follow-up conversation.
